Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an ASAP IV treatment take?
Our treatments are all short and effective, it takes around 5 minutes to answer a few questions in person, less than a minute to place an IV, and the liter of fluid is finished in 30-45 minutes! We may have to slow it down for you to finish that Netflix episode!
How quickly will I feel the effects from the IV?
While every client is different, our IV therapies bypass your GI system and act directly on your tissues, and many clients say they feel an immediate improvement within 15-20 minutes, although individual results may vary.
How do I know if I can benefit from IV hydration?
We want everyone to ride the new wave of hydration and feel as good as possible. That being said, we screen all of our patients for major medical conditions and may defer treatment if there are health concerns which would be unsafe. If you are eligible, we have IV therapy packages which can alleviate hangovers, boost your immunity during cold and flu season, prepare you for an athletic event or recover after an exhausting race. For wellness or recovery, we have an IV for you!

Can anyone get an IV treatment?
While the vast majority of our clients are eligible to receive a treatment, ASAP IVs reserves the right to withhold a treatment or therapy if we think it would be a danger to your health or create complications. If you have any questions, ask us!
How much do your IV therapies cost?
Our IV treatments at our clinic start at $75 and start at $125 for at-home (mobile) appointments. These include having a provider (physician or registered nurse) come to your house to administer the therapy. We don’t charge any additional fees. Depending on which medications or supplements are added, the price can increase from there. We offer several IV therapy packages which are popular for a myriad of problems, and there are options to fully customize as well!
Does it hurt to get an IV?
At ASAP IVs, we want you to feel your best, and want you to be comfortable in the process. We only use pediatric (kids size!) IVs. There is a small poke to place the IV and start the treatment. Most of our clients are surprised at how quick and easy it is.
What kind of payment do you accept?
We process all of our payments online before the appointment, so that when we meet you in person, we can focus on you. Our payment platform accepts all major credit cards, or you can pay on arrival with cash or Venmo (the system doesn't let you prepay online using Venmo unfortunately.
Do you accept insurance?
While we don't accept major medical carriers or Medicare, we do accept HSA, FSA, MRA cards.
Can IV therapy prevent hangovers
Dehydration from alcohol fuels the cycle of a hangover. We think getting an ASAP IV prior to a night out can prime your system, energize your body, and help prevent that awful next day feeling! Want to learn more? Read our in depth blog article on IV Hangover Cures!
Can IV therapy keep me from getting sick?
Studies have also shown that supplementation with Vitamin C and Zinc during cold and flu season can help reduce the occurrence of cold and flu symptoms in high level athletes, reduce the length of time a cold lasts, and reduce the severity of symptoms. We think an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! For more information on Vitamin C and illness prevention, read our blog article.
Do you have an upper or lower age limit for who can receive IVs?
We typically do hundreds of IVs per month, and it is extremely rare to have any kind of complication. While we do screen every client for medical comorbidities which may interfere with IV therapy, they can still be very safe for the extremes of life. We have safely worked with clients who are in their 90s as well as teens as young as 14. For those clients younger than 18 years old, they will need to have a responsible adult guardian with them during the infusion, and their treatment will need to be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Does ASAP IVs do Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties?
At ASAP IVs, we specialize in IV treatments, whether that’s one client at a time or 30. We have worked with clients on customized solutions for their bachelor or bachelorette party to get them the best and most affordable session possible. We offer group discounts, and the larger the group, the larger the discount. There is no hard cap on the amount of people who can jump in on an IV session, but larger groups may need more advanced planning. For any questions, contact us here.
Does ASAP IVs offer discounts?

Do I need a prescription from a Doctor to receive a treatment?
At ASAP IVs, we take the safety of our patients very seriously. That’s why every appointment is reviewed by our physicians Dr. Taylor Graber or Dr. Ilona Juan to ensure there are no medical contraindications which would make IV therapy unsafe. You do not need a prescription in advance of booking an appointment.
Should I tell my doctor I am receiving ASAP IVs?
We always believe that information is the best policy, especially when it comes to your health. We want you to have informed consent and make an educated decision about getting an IV treatment with us, which is why we encourage you to let your doctor know you are receiving infusions with us. We also provide evidence based treatments, which you can read more about in our blog section.
I am a recreational athlete looking for a performance boost. Are ASAP IVs legal in competitions?
Many of our are athletes enjoy the performance boost of a vitamin rich infusion before or after an event. However, we cannot guarantee the testing regulations of every governing body. It would be very rare for there to be an issue with any of our packages, but if you are a high level athlete we recommend discussing with your coach before treatment.
